Measuring out my breakfast cereal is proving to be very weird at the moment. It just seems like so little, but when I eat it I’m just fine. Suppose that means I’ve been overestimating my portions for a loooong time…
I got my SW pack through the post on Friday, which though I know it’s naughty I ordered on eBay as I can’t get to meetings. The boyfriend and I had a lovely weekend, eating McDonald’s AND a Chinese takeaway (oh dear) and decided to start afresh on Monday (today!) now that we know what we’re doing, thanks to the books. So, here we go!

Hmm, not a great day. Sometimes I get in a weird mood where I don’t want to eat until I’m forced to, which happened today. I feel very sad and very strange, and the no food thing probably hasn’t helped with this. Sigh. Ill be better tomorrow :)
I weighed myself today, which I probably shouldn’t have done - I think i’d like my weigh in day to be a Friday.
Anyway, i’ve lost 2lb, woo! I am now 13st 8 :)

Walked 2.3 miles, burnt 224 calories. Hurrah!
I haven’t followed a diet for such a long time thanks to the stress of moving 200 miles away from home for university. As a result of too much snacking during studying, of having to cook for myself all the time, of too much alcohol and takeaways during socialising with new friends, I put on a whopping 2 stone in just 4 months!
I am only just starting to notice that my clothes are a bit tight, but other than that my newfound 2 stone hasn’t made any difference in how I look, as far as I can tell. No one has said anything about the weight i’ve put on, and so I haven’t bothered to do anything about it. But now that it’s a new year, new start and all that, I’ve decided to shift the weight again. But this time i’ve got an extra 2 stone to get rid of too :(
Last year I did SlimFast and lost about a stone in 2 months. I enjoyed SlimFast and even got my boyfriend to lose about half a stone on it, but now because I’m a student and not working, I think it’d be too difficult to carry on buying the stupidly expensive SlimFast powders. And it’s awkward in social situations to just be drinking a shake.
So, spurred on by a friend dropping 3 dress sizes in as many months, I’ve decided to give Slimming World a go. The only thing is that I can’t quite afford to go to the weekly meetings, so I’m going it alone with the help of the internet. This doesn’t feel like a diet, this feels like making a permanent change. I’ve never eaten so many vegetables or cooked so much from scratch, and I am absolutely loving it, so lets see how this goes :)
Hello!
I had a break from Slimfast for a while, during which I had a lot of fun with my boyfriend, eating out, eating all sorts of crap and generally not caring about the calorie content of anything. It was liberating, in a way, and a lot of fun, but I’m ready again to lose some more weight!
All together, I put on 2lb through not caring about what I was eating, I was expecting to be back up at my heaviest but yay!
Here’s to a new start :)
Breakfast: Vanilla shake
Snack: Medium banana
Lunch: Chicken and salsa flatbread & raspberry cheesecake pot (605 cals)
Snack: A few (6 or so?) sweet oat crisps (Ikea biscuits), 2 strawberries
Dinner: Vanilla shake
Snack: Quavers
Exercise: walked 4 miles
Water: 2 litres
Not a bad day overall, but I am now exhausted :(
