Exercise

I have a sort of exercise routine now, it means I have to get up really early when I’m working early, but it’s worth it because of the way it makes me feel.

First of all, I go on the Wii Fit:

I do 15 minutes of yoga, followed by 20 minutes of free step, then 30 minutes of jogging - just over an hour. When I step and jog, I watch Cook Yourself Thin on TV, or I watch Friends - it takes my mind off what I’m doing and makes the time pass really quickly, which is good for me because I more or less hate exercise and I only do it because I know I need to lose weight.

Then I walk 2 miles to work, I leave an hour and a half to do this in, though it usually takes me just under an hour. I know I’m probably really slow at this, but because I’m going to work I want to be walking slowly because otherwise my face gets really red and I look a MESS. I always carry baby wipes, deodorant, and make up in my bag so that when I get to work, I can ‘freshen up’ and not look like i’ve done any exercise at all. 

According to About’s Calorie Count, the Wii Fit burns 561 calories, and the walking burns 188 calories, 749 calories altogether. Not bad.
